Belinda D. Everette

President & CEO

Belinda D. Everette is a recognized leader in the financial services industry. During a career that has spanned more than 30 years, Belinda has served in executive roles at Citibank, Wells Fargo, and Bank of America spearheading innovative, award-winning programs to expand banking services that focus on housing access, preservation, and equity in underserved BIPOC communities. Her collaborations with national organizations have fostered holistic programs that help communities create decent, safe, and sanitary housing with wrap-around services in transportation, education, health care, and social well-being.

As Chair of the NAACP Houston Branch’s Housing Committee, Belinda’s advocacy drives programs that help BIPOC communities improve access to credit and home ownership. She also works closely with home builders on ways to incorporate climate resiliency, energy efficiency, and environmental sustainability as features in new and existing housing stock.

In addition to earning a B.A. in journalism from the University of Central Oklahoma, Belinda completed continuing education programs at DePaul University’s School of New Learning and at Rice University where she earned a certificate in creative writing. She is also a Federal Housing Administration direct endorsement underwriter and a U.S. Department of Housing & Urban Development housing counselor.
