Balancing the Equation

Our efforts towards social equity serve as the cornerstone of our mission and primamry area of expertise.

EMC provides solutions the drive growth, sustainability and profitability. With an emphasis on improving the lives of groups that have historically faced discrimination, we lead with strategies designed to develop wealth by providing access to credit, financial resources and complete communities with accessible wrap-around services for thriving lifestyles.

In partnership with the nation’s largest financial services providers, builders, developers along with national, regional and local and non-profit service providers, we level the playing field to provide social equity, participation and diversity in creating housing opportunity with climate resiliency across the complex and diverse landscapes in urban, suburban and rural communities within the contiguous United States.

Our governing principles are based on economic justice for which economic infrastructure is created. Ultimately, our goal is to create an environment with equal opportunity and to establish a foundation for people to achieve their highest potential for sustaining productive, creative, and dignified lives.

We provide resources, training and specialized curriculum designed to bridge the gap and create avenues for empowerment, education and access for BIPOC communities in partnership with national, regional, and local non-profit organizations to reach underserved and unserved communities.

Civil Rights

Working directly with the nation’s largest, oldest civil rights organizations, we help ensure the social, educational, and economic empowerment of BIPOC communities throughout the country. Our Minority Home Buyer Workshop addresses systemic discrimination and disenfranchisement in the housing sector to ensure equity and access to fair and equitable lending, housing, and community development.

By partnering with GSE – Government Sponsored Enterprises, we advocate for fair housing, equal credit opportunity, and access to decent, safe, and sanitary housing. We work with state and local resources to reduce the impact of eminent domain, stripped land rights, and redlining.
